Submitted plays can be of any genre but must follow the theme of TEC and last from 5 to 10 minutes.
The play must not violate copyright.
The number of students working on a play is unlimited, but only students can be the authors, directors, actors, costume designers, and set designers.
The maximum number of actors per play is four, and no more than four students may come to TEC to perform the play.
Play scripts will have to be submitted three months before TEC. No play script will be accepted after the deadline. All play scripts must be sent by e-mail in a PDF format. No other format will be accepted. To avoid any technical problems, please send the play scripts before the deadline, as we will otherwise not be able to advise you on how to resolve them.
In the case of a large number of submitted plays, the judges will decide which plays will be invited to TEC. All invited students will receive an invitation two months before TEC. No props will be provided by the TEC organizers – participants must bring everything with them.
The invited plays will be performed before the judges, who will comment on each performance and finally select the winner of the Drama Challenge.
